When Bee is imprisoned in a magical, cursed house because of her father's selfish choices, she has just one plan... escape! But she must solve a riddle and help her fellow prisoners break the curse that binds them all before she can leave, and that is proving more difficult than she originally thought thanks to the bitter young master of the house, Will. Will wants nothing to do with Bee or her help (and he certainly isn't planning on falling in love with her), but he might have underestimated just how determined and clever--and irresistible--she can be.

This was another one that I call 'blind read' where I pick up books with interesting covers and read it without even reading the synopsis. I really liked the whole idea. At first (because I didn't read the synopsis) I have no idea it was a 'retelling story' of beauty and the beast, Usually I'm not that fond of 'retelling story' but I decided to read it since it's just like.. a hundred something pages (I don't know how many pages exactly since I read the ebook) and after I read it I realized that this is actually great! I really enjoy reading this book, this is a great version of beauty and the beast. I think it would be a hard work to retell disney's fairy tale and manage to present a great result from it.

And wow, I just love the characters! (well, except for Drew and bee's father) I even liked the the evil witch Marian. Bee, (or beauty) the main character is just so brave and strong, Just the type of heroine that I loved. Well, even though at first I was like "Pfft. Beauty? Bee?... what a name..." (I'm sorry Ms. Ellison) In conclusion, I really like this book. Four stars!
